Job Summary:
The HousekeepingAssociate is responsible for keeping the Community clean and safe forresidents, families, team members, and visitors. He/she is also responsible for cleaningcommon areas and may be assigned to clean resident apartments up to andincluding their personal laundry, bed linens, and towels.
Responsibilities:
Cleans Resident apartments asassignedCleans all common areas, includingbut not limited to: halls, landings,stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model unitsCleans vacant units as assigned andas aboveEnsures cleanliness of publicrestroomsMaintains housekeeping and laundrycarts at all timesWashes and dries all communitylaundry, using appropriate productsFollows the posted work schedule andarrives on time and in appropriate work attireFollows all emergency proceduresincluding when chemicals are accidently misusedUnderstands the practices surroundingproper handling of biohazardous wasteMaintains a clean laundry room andstores chemicals in accordance with proper proceduresReports on-the-job injuries to the Plant Operations Director/Business Office DirectorCommunicates effectively with HousekeepingSupervisor, Plant Operations Director, and other team membersAdvises Housekeeping Supervisorand/or Plant Operations Director when supplies are in need of reorderQualifications:
HighSchool diploma preferred/ GED acceptedAbilityto handle multiple prioritiesMusthave organizational and time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skillsPhysically able to bend and reachPhysically able to push and pull andlift up to 40-50 pounds if necessaryPhysically able to stand for extended periods of time
