MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford, ME, are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner ( ACNP ) to care for patients in the hospitalist service. Practitioners are responsible for admissions, daily rounding, acute visits and discharges of patients as well as ordering and interpreting laboratory data. The APP will work collaboratively with physicians from within Hospital Medicine and other consulting services. A great team based atmosphere with a strong hospital community provides an excellent supportive environment for practitioners to grow and achieve independence.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program; current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure; experience in hospital medicine preferred, not required; excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; ability to effectively triage, organize and prioritize; ability to function as part of a team; proficient computer skills; ability to maintain confidentiality
