About the Role:
This is a flexible hybrid role; the person must be within commutable distance to either our Tempe or Plano office (3 days at least in office weekly)
Gen is seeking a Senior, International specialist Tax to support the Senior Manager, International Tax and overall Gen Tax team. This position requires working in a collaborative team environment and manage various ongoing international tax compliance, provision, and tax consulting projects.
Responsibilities include:Manage and prepare the US international tax aspects (e.g., GILTI, E&P, Subpart F, BEAT, FDII, FTC) of the annual US federal income tax return in conjunction with the assistance of external consultantsManage and prepare the quarterly provision from an US international tax perspectiveAssist in modeling tax planning scenarios related to US international taxAssist in any ongoing US tax controversy issuesAbility to manage various consulting project-based tasksAbility to research and communicate key developments and topics for US international tax mattersCollaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and business teams on complex business initiativesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Masters in Tax (preferred)Certified Public Accountant (preferred)Years of Experience - 4 - 8 yearsExperience with OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision (plus)Experience with managing multiple workstreams simultaneouslyExperience with preparing and reviewing work related to US international tax issues (e.g., GILTI, E&P, Subpart F, BEAT, FDII, FTC)Self-motivated with good project management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other team members
