Project Administrator

in our Special Markets division in our Olathe, KS office. The ideal candidate will be team focused, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced sales and service environment. This individual will also have a heavy emphasis on purchasing and inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with project managers on all aspects of projects including processing shop drawings, project correspondence and billing Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Set up and maintain files on sold projects Prepare and submit monthly progress billings for current projects Process project related paperwork to include contracts, subcontracts, lien waivers, etc. Purchasing materials to ensure stock and order requests from contracts are processed and received in a timely manner Consolidate requests when possible; check pricing and discounts available with vendors and place accurate orders in a timely fashion Ensure inquiries associated with orders are immediately addressed including shipment date, type of freight, material handling, and all other inquires Maintain constant communication with vendors and project managers to expedite shipping of materials and maintain shipping receiving expectations Process order acknowledgements for product correctness, quantity accuracy, pricing verification, and invoice compliance Providing administrative support and completing administrative tasks Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required Computer proficiency required including strong background in Microsoft Office Suite, MRP/ERP, and/or bar-code systems Excellent communication skills and be able to interact professionally with contacts, internal and external, at all levels and possess a high sense of urgency with exceptional problem-solving skills Prefer 1 plus years of buying, purchasing, or procurement experience Strong attention to detail Must be technically inclined with strong mathematical and mechanical skills Why DH Pace?
