Job Profile: Copywriter

Reports To: Executive Creative Director

As part of the Marketing team,

the Copywriter

will develop copy for a wide variety of projects across the Evenflo brand; including but not limited to: launch campaigns, site copy, blog posts, landing pages, CRM and promotional campaigns, and product messaging. This role is to communicate the utility and value of the Evenflo brand and products portfolio to the world. The copywriter will write compelling copy for a variety of project types and work closely with the marketing, product and digital teams during launches and campaigns to produce creative and revenue-generating content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With a primary focus to create and craft engaging marketing campaigns, the copywriter will be responsible for messaging and copy for the following types of projects, with the management of quality and accuracy of content that supports launches and our brand:

Lead copy development for a variety of written materials: website content /copy, landing pages, new product launch campaign, digital and promotional campaigns, CRM campaigns, social, and in-product messagingAbility to understand, articulate and create copy and campaign ideas in alignment with marketing briefsPartner closely with Art team to support campaign development effortsCreate quality, error-free, on-time copy for marketing and product deliverablesComfortable with presenting ideas, working under deadlines and creating presentationsAbility to iterate quickly and effectively in response to feedbackEdit and rework copy received from product managers, digital partners and sales organization at the direction of the Creative Director and Sr. CopywriterComfortable with crafting product names, taglinesWrite conversion-driving content: CTAs, Headlines, subheadsWrite concise, engaging content using best practices for the given channel/mediumExperience with SEO/SEM content and copy practicesHelp support our content strategy in alignment with agency partnersWork with other members of the marketing team to ensure the content strategy complements and amplifies all marketing initiativesAid in the creation of new brand style guideMaintain copy guide for Evenflo brandSupport in peer review process and proofreading of marketing materialsExperience and comfort with both digital and printed materials, the process and nuances between the channelsAble to leverage Adobe Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and creative workflow tool (ASANA) as it aligns to organizational and departmental processesRequired

Bachelor's or better, Degree in journalism, English or MarketingRequired

Experience within consumer-packaged goods industry or a market agencyBaby category experienceExperience with writing for regulated or safety productsSupervisory/Mentor experience5-7 years: Marketing experience
