Job Title: Solder TechnicianResponsibilitiesRead work sheets and verbal instructions to determine assembly duties.Select components such as transistors, resistors, relays, capacitors, and integrated circuits.Twist, bend, trim, strip, or file wire leads of components.Ream holes in boards to insert wire leads.Insert color-coded wires into designated holes and clinch wire ends.Press-fit (mount) component leads into boards.Place plastic isolating sleeves around specified wire leads and shrink sleeves into place.Crimp wire leads on the underside of the board.Apply sealer or masking compound to selected parts of the boards.Essential SkillsProficiency in soldering, assembling, and working with PCB.Knowledge and experience with IPC-610, J-STD, and MIL-SPEC standards.Experience with thru-hole and SMT soldering techniques.Ability to perform point-to-point soldering and assembly.Shift 7am-5:30pm Pay $25LocationNewbury ParkAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
