Essential Responsibilities
Planning for and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for clients with a variety of disabilities to remediate, improve, or alleviate areas of need and increase participation in home, community and schoolUse of creative and engaging therapy ideas to increase client's attention and motivation. Interest in working with Autistic children.Consult with family/caregiver for development of home programsShare and collaborate with other therapistsData collection: complete accurate daily notes, quarterly progress & annual plan of care using web-based documentation systemDemonstrate positive rapport with families, caregivers, and staffComply with all clinic/home/school processes to adhere to state/federal guidelines for therapy deliveryEvaluations- educationally relevant or medical necessity basedOpportunities available for supervision and student field mentorshipThe Equal Employment Opportunity Policy of Mariposa Therapy is to provide fair and equal employment for all associates and job applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability.
