Mobile QA Engineer

Job SummaryThe Mobile QA Engineer will perform comprehensive testing of mobile applications across various browsers and versions on both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires proficiency in reading reports from testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jenkins, and Cypress, along with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle. The ideal candidate should be experienced in testing methodologies, accessibility testing, and writing test cases, with effective communication and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities•Perform web and mobile testing across multiple browsers and versions for both iOS and Android•Read and interpret reports from testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jenkins, and Cypress•Conduct accessibility testing on web and native devices (iOS and Android)•Write and execute test cases following Gherkin Syntax (Given, When, Then)•Ensure adherence to testing methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle•Identify, analyze, and report bugs, providing clear documentation for development teams•Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to communicate testing results and issuesRequired Qualifications•Proven experience in web and mobile testing across various browsers and versions (iOS and Android)•Familiarity with testing frameworks (Playwright, Jenkins, Cypress) and Gherkin Syntax•Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies•Proficiency in writing and executing test cases•Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills•Excellent communication skillsPreferred Qualifications•Ability to write automation tests•Familiarity with Jenkins and monitoring jobsEducation: Bachelors Degree
