Must-Have: - Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.- RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred. Job Description: - Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and may float to other units such as ER (to care for ICU holds), Telemetry, and Med Surg.- Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.- Accountable for the care provided to assigned patients and communicates with physicians about changes in clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal results and symptomatology.- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
