As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will deliver products that work flawlessly every time, in the heat of battle giving our troops the winning edge when it matters most. You will lead an elite team that ensures all quality aspects are met on complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.
Job Summary:
In this role, you have the opportunity to ensure the quality of our products meets the high demand requirements of the aerospace industry. You will support incoming inspection, in-process, and final inspection, while generating non-conforming material records in our Manufacturing Execution System. Additionally, you will perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to ensure that company standards are met.
Job Responsibility:
Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection Perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection. Perform inspection of purged product as requested. Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system. Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required Perform first article inspections to support the component/part qualification Be able to read and interpret specifications and part prints Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation. Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols. Communicates and assists in the resolution of quality related problems. Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations Be able to mentor other inspectors and provide guidance as required
Required Qualification:
High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment 5+ years experience each in PCBA inspection and Cable Inspection IPC-A-610 certification or previously certified IPC-A-620 certification or previously certified Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in aerospace/defense industry Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Certification in J-STD, IPC-7711/7721 or previously certified Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with little instruction on daily work Knowledge of plating and conversion coating specifications a plus Knowledge of Aegis FactoryLogix a plus
