Summary/objective

Assurance Senior Managers are responsible for the review and management of their assigned client work.They are also responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating workflow amongst the team. Senior Managers will assist associates, senior associates, and managers with technical and software issues.Senior Managers will communicate with clients regularly and build client relationships. Senior Managers will be proficient in research and be able to properly document and cite findings.

Implementing project management and workflows methods for timeliness, accuracy, quality, and compliance, while committing to professional standardsAct as a Subject Matter expert on issues related to ASC 740Building relationships with clients throughout the year; must possess a thorough knowledge of the client and all facets of client's businessMaintaining familiarity with qualifications of all staff members and reviewing staff assignments for appropriateness.Monitoring time budgetsReviewing workpapers reportsAnticipating problem areas and questions that will arise during the course of a projectCollaborating with Partners to keep informed of all-important developments, analyzing problems and recommending solutionsEnsuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with professional and Firm standardsCommunicating progress of projects, problems, and resolutions to clientDeveloping responsible, trained staff by assisting in performance evaluationsContributing insights and innovative ideas based on hard and soft trends in clients' industryRecruiting top talent through team member advocacy by building your personal brand and communicating the firm's mission, vision and valuesAccepting responsibility for accuracy of data entry, accumulation, and maintenance in all aspects of what we do as an accounting and consulting FirmPromoting an environment of continual learning, by growing team's leadership and interpersonal skillsSupervising Managers and providing on-the-job training for team membersSupervisory responsibilities

This position is remote, with occasional travel to meet organizational or client needs

Physical demands

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.Travel required

Required education and experience

Normally five (5) to ten (10) years' experience in public accounting or consulting, demonstrating a progression in complexity, scope, and number of projects managed.Bachelor's degree or master's degree in an appropriate field is required.CPA License- must be a member in good standing with the AICPA and respective state societiesExtensive ASC 740 ExperienceProficiency in use of computers and computer accounting software, or software appropriate to practice group.Preferred education and experience
