Certification Details AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification NRP ACLS BLS Job Details Need: RN (perm AK license is required for submission) Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30 AM Unit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Cost Center: 660 Start: asap Length of Assignment:13 weeks Job Requirements Must have OR circulator experience Must have Labor and delivery experience Preferred: Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery Typical procedures: Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions, and bilateral tubal ligation Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD care Best personality Fit: Flexible, Cheerful, Positive, team player, quick learner, accountable, adaptable, mentor Schedule Information On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing Unit Specific Information Number of Beds - 7 Number of Staff – 4 night nurses on staff currently Type of staff: Day Shift - 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech, Night Shift - 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech Patient Ratios – 1:3 variable by census and acuity Type of equipment - GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC EMR – Epic and CPN connect No elective pre 39 week deliveries, Pitocin Protocol, HTN and PP hemorrhage protocols, malignant hyperthermia protocols Level II NICU with onsite pediatric hospitalists
