About This Role:

The

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

works as liaison with customer service, manufacturing operations and Distribution Center to expedite requests in support of fulfillment of customer orders. Works with Receiving, Customer Service, and other department representatives to ensure that any priority receipts, shipments, or requests are taken care of accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

Ability to research and follow through with requests in a timely and efficient manner. Consistently checks e-mails to ensure requests from Customer Service, Production, or other department representatives are taken care of in a timely manner.Clearly understands processes of the shipping and receiving departments. Responds to requests or ensures they are delegated to correct employees and then follows through to confirm items have been resolved.Works with planners to ensure that priority receipts are transferred timely, and product is available for allocation by Customer Service.Maintains constant communication between and among customer service, purchasing, manufacturing, shipping and receiving. Works through special requests from other departments within the organization.Assists with domestic carrier needs and provides information to Customer Service on possible options towards fulfillment.Ensures special customer requests are successfully completed or provides information on any issues causing interruptions in fulfillment of orders.Demonstrates an ability to organize activities and workspace, as well as the ability to manage large volumes of requests and paperwork with a high level of detail.Works with the Manager or Supervisor keeping them informed of the types and frequency of requests being made.Education/Training Required and Preferred:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Experience Required and Preferred:

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to comprehend work instructions.Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate professional behavior.Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfil obligations.Must be detail oriented and ability to complete work tasks.Ability to perform data entry, view electronic procedures, or pass training courses.Ability and willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.Good problem-solving skills and detail oriented.Requires strong interpersonal skills.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is preferredBilingual in Spanish is preferredWhat We Offer:
