As a Senior QA Engineer, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.6+ years of Information Technology experience.All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to applyCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Fountain Valley, CA or be willing to relocate one of these areas.Preferred Qualifications
Test Plan creation with proper coverage of features testing and detailed test cases writingRequirements traceability matrix implementationTroubleshooting by running queries and analyzing service logsReviewing BRD documents and Service specs to write test scenarios and test casesProviding project status reports with test case execution and defect bug listContribute to project planning, estimating, and progress trackingExperience with testing in vehicle telematics areaREST API testing using JMeter, PostmanOracle advanced queries execution knowledgeClient-server architecture features manual/automation testing experienceTest automation using tools like Fiddler for troubleshooting errorsExpert in Tools: JMeter, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, Fiddler, UI Automator, TestNGHands on Experience with API testing using JMeter or related software. (JMeter preferred)Hands on experience with JSON, XML and other data related areasExperience with QA methodologiesGood experience with data analysis, log monitoring and reportingExperience with or understanding of Telematics areaWorking experience with Manual testing for Web Browsers, Mobile platforms
Automation experience with Selenium/Appium is good to have
