Senior .Net EngineerApply OnlineTyler Technologies is looking for a talented Senior Software .NET/C# Engineer who can infuse new ideas and creative thinking into our public safety products division. Responsibilities for this position include design, development andmaintenance of mission critical products, including E911 and computer aided dispatch systems. Ideal candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of software design and development using Microsoft .NET platform technologies. This position requires working in highly collaborative teams that follow Agile practices.
LocationTroy, MichiganTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesCoding experience with WPF/ WinForms/AngularKnowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL serverProfessional work experience designing, building and deploying a large-scale, commercial software productExperience using development tools such as Visual Studio, ReSharper, JIRA, GitFamiliarity with industry standard development practices (Agile methodologies, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.)Advocate for best practices (standard naming conventions, architecture, design patterns)Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, AWS DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts.Involved through the entire software development lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and supportWork with the junior developers assisting them in all aspects of the software engineeringFollow the development practices of the public safety product teamsEnsure on-going success of projects by designing high-quality technical solutionsCollaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to solve complex technical problemsContinually grow personal skillset and knowledge base with independent researchQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field5 + years of experience in designing and programming commercial grade applications5+ years of object-oriented design experience5+ years of C# development experience with a comprehensive knowledge of its ecosystemExperienced in the .NET framework, multi-threaded and asynchronous programming modelsStrong communication skills which will elevate technical team interactionAbility to adapt and learn new technologies quickly and proactively
