Harper Brothers Construction is actively looking for a
Bilingual HR Generalist
to become a part of our team.The main objective of the Bilingual HR Generalist is to collaborate with the Human Resource Department on various HR-related tasks and ensure that all necessary administrative duties are completed promptly. This role will also involve providing customer service to all team members, which may require visiting offsite locations. Maintaining confidentiality is essential in this position.Responsibilities:Managing administrative tasks related to onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including data entry into HR information systems and ensuring accuracy and compliance through auditing.Translate documents as needed.Assist in the recruitment and hiring process.Organize and facilitate the onboarding of new hires.Serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related administrative inquiries.Offer consistent, courteous, and timely assistance to employees with questions about HR administration.Help with the annual open enrollment process.Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department.Assist with the communication, interpretation, and maintenance of the employee handbook and organizational chart, while contributing to policy development.Perform additional duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the Construction Industry.Professional, adaptable, highly motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to handle tasks that require frequent changes in direction.Reliable, with a proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality and sensitivity of human resources information.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Viewpoint and BambooStrong problem-solving abilities and resourceful thinking, with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.Bilingual in Spanish.Positive, proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $65k- $85kFactors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this roleThis position will be posted until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.How to Apply:Send resumes to Human Resources tara.mccray@harperbro.comEqual Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer:Harper Brothers Construction is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
