Job Summary : The Network Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, and repair of Network infrastructure and cabling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with the Associate Director and Network Analysts to design and document wire and cable standards for the campus.Ensures compliance with documented campus wiring standards.Manages campus cable distribution systems for copper, coax, and fiber communications cables.Works with Plant Services to create parts lists and timelines for new construction.Installs building-to-building and in-building cable systems.Terminates fiber and copper cables according to manufacturer's specifications.Performs all other reasonably business-related functions as assigned.Install CCTV cameras and wireless access points.Performs all other reasonably business-related functions as assigned.

Must have an expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, an SDA church member in good and regular standing, and a desire to serve in a cooperative, spiritually redemptive, and soul-winning atmosphere.
Qualifications :
Excellent troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of cabling installation methods (fiber termination, ethernet termination)Friendly and patient attitude when working with non-technical usersBICSI certified a plus
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires lifting, pulling, working on knees, standing, bending, reaching, and climbing on ladders and lifts. It may require lifting to 100 pounds and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard trade tools. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
