SuperintendentIn the role of Superintendent, you will utilize your innovative and problem-solving skills to guide on-site operations, ensuring the successful delivery of outstanding projects to our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing both self-performed and contracted work, ensuring adherence to contract specifications and project timelines. Additionally, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and quality. As a key member of the team, your duties may extend to supporting the lead Project Superintendent and contributing to the overall day-to-day leadership of on-site construction operations. This position involves providing supervision and technical management for subcontractors and other construction-related personnel.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise timely and high-quality installation of contracted work for total projects, specific scopes, trade contractors, or project segments.Instill a safety and quality culture among CWC employees and trade contractors, conducting regular inspections for compliance with company, contract, and government regulations.Develop and manage a plan for sequencing work, handling jobsite logistics, and monitoring materials and personnel.Ensure consistently high-quality work in line with project and company standards.Take initiative and personal responsibility with all project stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and budget.Develop, update, and communicate the project schedule, demonstrating command of critical milestones to all stakeholders.Manage, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-functioning team.Cultivate strong relationships with all project stakeholders.Maintain professionalism in internal and external meetings and interactions, representing the company and team.Possess a working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.Contribute to the development and maintenance of staff charts, general conditions, and project costs.Demonstrate an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project.Participate in close-out activities, including punch list and building operations training.Demonstrate advanced problem-solving capabilities to overcome constant obstacles, issues, and conflicts on the job.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.At least 5 years of experience in managing aspects of a construction project(s) in excess of thirty (30) million dollarsAt least 3 years leading, developing, and motivating teamsPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam as well as an understanding of Primavera scheduling and BIMDBIA and/or LEED AccreditationOSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certificationsLEED GA accreditation at a minimum, specialty accreditation a plusUnderstanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction projectAdditional Notes
