Engineering Service Technical Support Job Num: 55691 h5Job DescriptionA Japanese sushi machine manufacturing company seeks a Service Technician at their Teterboro, NJ office.Salary range: $48K - 58K + bonus + competitive benefits package including commute milage reimbursement.Position Overview:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and troubleshoot equipment, maintain high customer satisfaction, and perform scheduled maintenance and repairs ondiagnostic imaging equipment.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, and Production Engineering teams.- Generate and update engineering documentation, departmental procedures, and flowcharts.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.- Repair diagnostic imaging equipment specific to your skillset.- Complete documentation, including field service tickets, QA forms, and inspection reports.- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including calibrations and system verifications.- Provide on-demand phone and on-site support.- Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment functionality for preventative maintenance.- Accurately document all service activities according to Company Quality Standards.- Clarify customer requirements and technical issues with customers and the sales force.- Work with sales and operations on customer-specific site and technical issues.- Maintain inventory integrity through proper handling, inspection, and warehousing.- Support company-wide initiatives, policies, and procedures, including Quality Management System maintenance.- Submit field service reports timely and according to functional standards.- Communicate with account managers regarding services provided.- Manage and maintain company assets required for job functions.- Willingness to travel and drive to various sites; some travel may require flying and overnight stays.- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the machinery department is preferred- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.- High School Diploma or GED required.Physical Demands:- Ability to talk and hear.- Frequently required to stand, walk, and lift up to 85 lbs.- Use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.To apply, please send resume to nyamamoto@pasona.comJob DetailsCity: Teterboro State: NJ Job Type: Permanent Job Salary High: 58000.00 Salary Low: 48000.00 Languages: English;Japanese Hours of Operation: Benefits: Health Ins;Dental Ins;Vision Ins;Bonus Contact InformationJob Owner: Natsumi Yamamoto Job Owner Email : nyamamoto@pasona.com
