is hiring a
Cybersecurity Engineer
to serve as the subject matter expert in identity management and data loss prevention. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and supporting cybersecurity technologies, developing security standards, and leading security initiatives. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to document requirements, creating documentation, and conducting security assessments. The engineer will also contribute to the security awareness training program, improve department processes, and participate in on-call incident response.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Act as the subject matter expert for identity management and data loss prevention, including design, implementation, and support of related processes and toolsetsAssist with design, implementation, and support of additional cybersecurity technologies as neededContribute to the development of security standards and guidelines for governance, risk, and complianceLead security initiatives and projects with both internal teams and external resourcesCollaborate with stakeholders to determine and document requirements for processes and systemsAssist with development and implementation of security awareness training programParticipate in the improvement and automation of department processesCreate documentation including system diagrams, process flows, system/product support, incident summaries, etc.Conduct security control assessments and gap analysis for systems and processesDevelop metrics, reports, and presentations for technical teams and leadershipParticipation in on-call rotation with the cybersecurity incident response teamTravel as necessary for the needs of the business, less than 5%All other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, software development, information technology, or similar preferred2 years of experience related to cybersecurity preferred4 years of systems administration, network engineering, or similar information technology position requiredWorking knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systemsFamiliarity with administration of security controls in AWS and AzureExperience in project management, cybersecurity platform management, and/or GRCKnowledge working with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, HIPPA, ISO27001/27002, CIS, data privacy, or similar regulatory and compliance frameworksDemonstrated ability with project managementExperience with ITIL and Agile processesWorking knowledge of at least one scripting language, python preferredIndustry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GIAC, AWS Security Specialty, Azure AZ500, Security+ strongly preferred not required
