The Chobani National Account Manager (Costco) will manage and develop club business for four of our Costco regions. This role is responsible for the ongoing management and selling of Chobani’s Club item portfolio, while collaborating cross-functionally on production forecasting, innovation, package design, inventory management, and planning. Through partnership with the Demand team functions, this role will project sales, drive volume, and establish Chobani presence within each of the Costco regions with the right item, at the right price, in the right place.
Responsibilities
• Develop, plan, and implement strategic selling plans, achieve sales objectives including volume, profit, and expense• Lead monthly cross-functional planning sessions to drive forecasting, product availability, trade, volume, and profit• Influence internal business partners to support Costco and Chobani leadership teams• Drive and build relationships with buy teams, understand their regional businesses, and influence their acceptance of items• Manage customer accrual and shopper marketing programs through monthly updates with internal and external partners• Create and maintain all selling materials to reflect the most up to date programming, graphics, specs, pricing, and insights• Partner with the Demand team functions in ensuring excellence in execution of all Club related activities• Improve communication and develop process improvements to drive efficiencies, speed to shelf, and increased sales• Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required• 5-7 years consumer packaged goods experience including Sales and/or Category Management• Club channel experience, specifically Costco preferred• Strong and proven leadership skills• Experience servicing a diverse customer base• Strong cross-functional exposure / experience• Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines• Proficient with reporting systems such as Retail Link, IRI and AC Nielsen• Proficient in Microsoft Office• 25-40% travel required
