Job Description SummaryCoordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesSee, surface and help solve material coverage issues impacting Defense & Systems programs.Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs and optimize inventory and process improvements.Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.Understands manufacturing processes and how to problem solve in those environmentsUse judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cyclesAct as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.Explain information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
