Operations Assistant
Wilsonart, Temple, Texas has an immediate opening for an Operations Assistant. This role will provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to the Director of Operations and other manufacturing and operations team members as assigned, and that the business functions efficiently. Administers programs, projects and/or processes specific to manufacturing and operations. Performs other tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLocates and attaches appropriate files to correspondence to be answered by employerComposes letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction or from knowledge of company policy and proceduresParticipate in or lead department or company programs (holiday events or programs, etc.)Coordinate and schedule communication meetings: Viewpoint, department meetings, etc.Facilitate technology needs for successful meetings: telephone, computer, presentation set up. Arrange meeting rooms, food, etc.Prepares professional presentations (Word, Power Point, Excel)Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment utilizing knowledge of systems or proceduresComposes announcements, postings, letters, emails, memorandum and other communication as neededAssists executive in some administrative details, usually of a confidential natureOrders supplies and other materials as neededSchedules/makes appointments, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, car rental, etcAnswers telephone and gives information to callers and routes callsReads and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and prepares outgoing mailPerforms other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
