The range for this role is $19.71 - $25.00

Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 5% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.

Applicants must be willing and able to work onsite 3 days per week in our Melbourne, FL office.

Full-time, Monday - Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Job

Organize and work a large case load in accordance with the various established processes specific to: external program searches, obtaining signed authorizations, primary insurance, sports injuries, workman's compensation situations, at-home injuries, motor vehicle accidents. Communicate required information via inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and faxes with Medi-Share members and healthcare providers.

Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesSingle point of contact to members and healthcare providers (when applicable) in obtaining required documentation (i.e. forms, authorizations, legal) for the processing of member's medical billsCorrespond via written or verbal communication with members and healthcare providers to obtain necessary informationEncourage members to apply for programs if eligible and to submit bills to appropriate to resourceEffectively communicates guidelines to both members and outside entities in order to retrieve necessary information and guide parties through established processes/proceduresForward incoming documentation (i.e. forms, authorizations, legal) when applicable - noting in case notes for referenceHandle multiple cases and document appropriate notes & status in billing system required (i.e. SalesForce, CSI)Keep leadership informed of high risk/high dollar casesOffer to pray with providers, members and legal personnel when opportunity presents itselfContribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefsAll other duties as assignedEssential Skills & Abilities

High school diploma/GED (required)1-2 years' experience handling medical bills, medical bill processing and/or reporting (required)2-3 years' of phone experience (required)Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred)Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration (preferred)Prior Cost Management experience strongly preferredSupervisory Responsibilities
