Inside Solutions Architect

PC Connection, Inc. (DBA Connection) has an opening for Inside Solutions Architect in Merrimack New Hampshire. Designs and presents technical solution configurations based on client needs and solution pricing, recommending applicable services as part of the overall client solution. Advises on pricing programs and deal registration. Serves as subject matter expert to Account Managers on technology solution. Partners with Account Managers and Sales Managers to identify IT solutions opportunities and target these accounts with proactive engagement. Works with sales teams, sales managers, and account managers to ensure that sales teams are fully enabled on the advanced technology solutions and are fully aware of the TSG portfolio. Regularly attends and contributes to sales team calls, provides targeted enablement trainings internally to sales teams on current, new, or emerging solution sets, and supports events such as Tech Showcase, Tech Summit, and vendor conferences in a sales-support and enablement function. Executes strategic initiatives toward organizational, solution, and business development. Works with peers including Field Solution Architects(FSAs) and Practice Engineers on internal tactical development initiatives, such as building new solutions and services for the TSG advanced technology portfolio. Assists with the building of internal organizational processes and go-to-market initiatives. Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related, or foreign degree equivalent and 60 months experience as a computer systems engineer, architect, or related, including 60 months of experience with providing technical solutions based on customer needs per the practice area (datacenter, networking, security); 60 months of experience with account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies; and 60 months of experience with assessing the customers business systems requirements. Must have valid technical pre-sale certifications or eligible. Nationwide travel for events, partner meetings, and site visits required up to 10% of the time. Mail CV to PC Connection, Inc.
