Listed below are several of the major responsibilities:Clinical leadership for the Department of PharmacyOversight for scheduling of medicine division pharmacists and techsResponsible for Performance Partnership System for medicine division pharmacistsLeads staff development projects (design, implementation, measuring impact)Assists in planning, design, implementation and demonstrates the value of pharmacy servicesRecruits excellent new employees for the division and departmentProvides on-call support for the divisionOversees and evaluates the intervention program dataMaintains outstanding skills as a clinical pharmacy practitionerParticipates with student and resident educationProvides educational lectures (Duke, State/Local, National)Coordinates and schedules the divisional staff meetingsWorks with peers to achieve division and departmental goalsTakes responsibility for personal and professional growthMaintains familiarity with all departmental programs and works as integral part of the pharmacy team.Duties and Responsibilities of this LevelThe clinical coordinator of the medicine division is a key leadership position with many challenging responsibilities.
