This role is designed to provide support in the form of parts management to all maintenance activities with a primary focus on planned and scheduled work. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for gathering and staging parts for scheduled work and to manage the parts process with the Haile Gold Mine Warehouse and on-site and offsite vendor warehouses. This role will assist mechanics and operators with parts ordering when the supervisor or lead is not available. This role will assist with backlog generation from PM and breakdown (reactive) work orders that have not been completed.Sort received parts for PMs, scheduled backlog work and reactive work.Place backlog parts in appropriate equipment totes or bin locations according to scheduled work, add order paperwork, log parts on Teams "Part Tracking Log."Review Maintenance Plan/Schedule daily and identify and stage parts required 24 to 48 hours in advance.Ensure all vendor parts are received through HGM warehouse.Ensure returns make it to the respective Warehouse: HGM or Vendor Warehouse. Ensure returns are processed properly with proper paperwork: PO number, WO number, any return paperwork required.Order parts for breakdown RM work when the maintenance supervisor or lead is not available.Order parts for CM Maintenance on a properly coded work order.Deliver parts to field mechanic or shop floor as required.Close out work orders generated during shift that have been complete. Change type from RM to CM if parts were not available or if work did not get completed.Inventory parts totes and make notes of any inventory changes. Re-order parts that were removed to use another piece of equipment.Inventory breakdown parts on the shelves and other staging areas in Parts Room. Fill out inventory sheets. Re-order issued parts on night shift.Ensure Parts Room is orderly, all trash is removed, and all parts are delivered, placed in totes or returned to the appropriate warehouse.Ensure the dome tent area is orderly, all trash is removed, and all parts are delivered, placed in totes, or returned to the appropriate warehouse.Daily email to logistic technicians' group, on shift maintenance supervisor or lead with log sheets, inventory sheets and any information that may be pertinent on the following shifts.Update excel workbooks in the Haile Mine Maintenance folder in Teams before the end of shiftOther duties as assigned by supervision.Qualifications

Qualifications

Experience:

2 to 3 years' experience in parts processes preferred.

Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licenses:

High School Diploma

Scheduling Skills:

Time Management to manage the day-to-day duties

Technical Skills:

Able to use part books to identify parts needed for repair, Skilled in Cat SIS, My Komatsu, My Sandvik, to order parts needed Preferred,

Knowledge:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, etc.)Pronto CMMS experienced preferred.

Health and Safety

Develop and continuously promote strategic objectives and health and safety awareness programs to ensure all workers and site contractors understand their health and safety responsibilities.Lead, advise and co-ordinate the departmental health and safety officers Advisors to deliver the site health and safety objectives.Contribute to the ongoing development and review of site policies, procedures, hazard management plans and standards.Advise and assist senior management to establish business health and safety objectives, targets and KPIs that are fully integrated with the site's business unit plans.Facilitate regular hazard/risk management planning via regular risk reviews incorporating business unit hazard identification, risk assessment and control practices, and ensuring compliance.Organize and conduct regular health and safety audits and workplace inspections.Ensure that all health and safety documents are controlled in accordance with the relevant corporate standards.Assist in Producinge a monthly report for both company (and statutory) requirements. Reports will include incidents, safety statistics, budget performance and relevant occupational health, safety, and training initiatives.Assist the site management team to develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Emergency Response Plan.Always ensure a high standard of emergency preparedness by ensuring suitable numbers of site personnel are trained as Emergency Responders, ensuring equipment is regularly inspected and maintained in good working order, ensure regular training exercises and realistic scenarios are carried out; and regularly update procedures and call out systems.Manage an effective on-site medical facility, ensuring adequate first aid and treatment resources are available at all times.Co-ordinate MSHA liaison and host MSHA audits and investigations.Maintain the requisite experience and credentials to act as the MSHA registered ID for Haile Operations.Act in the role of Rehabilitation Coordinator, liaising with Department Managers, HR, doctors and the injured person to develop a structured rehabilitation program with the aim of returning the injured person back to full-time employment.Act in the role of the Safety Manager during his absencesTraining

Ensure gap analyses are completed of all training onsite to the role competencies.Develop Assist in training and development plans for each role following the gap analyses.Audit workforce against the training plans.Assist in the Development of adequate lesson plans for the workforce ensuring all business unit related training is mapped to the relevant standards.Maintain development training plans for ongoing development and up-skilling of line managementfront line supervisors and Superintendents.Develop strategy to access relevant government training and development support funding;Conduct audits of the site training to ensure alignment and effectiveness.Manage Coordinate safety leadership training and ensure the training returns match the required outcomes and leadership behaviours.Assist Develop in annual site training plan and budget.Coordinate cost effective site wide training.Review and update induction training packages across the site and ensure alignment with OGC corporate standard.Ensure the development of standards and procedures for auditing contractor training as relevant to the underground.Audit contractor training to ensure compliance with OGC and relevant standards as relevant to the underground.Safety

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.Must be able to work shift work with 12-hour shifts.Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
