Job Description SummaryThe Edison Works Program Operations and Forecasting Pillar Lead is a key member of the Edison Works team, responsible for the team leadership of Program Operations and Forecasting team in support of development programs within the Edison Works Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO supports a wide range of program and project management functions. This role is in charge of program operations and forecasting for all of Edison Works development programs and serve a liaison to Edison Works senior leadership, program managers, and partner functions (including finance and engineering). The pillar lead will need to guide program managers and other program operations specialists to best support their respective programs and will coordinate communications and engagement processes that program stakeholders are informed and action items are statused and actioned. The pillar lead role also manages the proposal management team that executes proposals for the Edison Works programs.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesPeople Leader for a medium team of experts in their core competenciesStrategic workforce planning for Program Operations and Forecasting PillarCustomer interface with USG customers, specifically coordination with internal and external Contracts teams to execute funding modifications and obligate fundsDefine strategy for Deal Factory and lead team to execute proposalsStrategize with business leadership to create and communicate Operating Plan, CMR and Growth Playbook forecastsDefine Standard Work for program financials at the Monthly Program Reviews (MPRs) and associated customer briefingsOwn and report on key performance indices specifically related to Termination Liability and the Big Rocks financial obligationsSupport financial risk exposure to the business through termination liability analysis across multiple programsHelp support Program and Product managers with forecasting. tracking of critical risks, and deadlinesCommunicate complex messages/influences peers/negotiates and leads a medium to large to of Senior Professional Band team membersLeverage FLIGHT DECK to help operate key program support functions within Edison Works for new and existing programsSupport with proposals to ensure compliance to government and contractual requirementsWork directly with finance, manufacturing, scheduling, program management and engineering teams to meet all customer requests, monthly deadlines, and reporting requirementsLead transformation efforts to eliminate waste, improve transparency, establish standard work, and enhance the value the team brings to the businessHelp develop and implement program operations best practices and processes to improve efficiencyManage a horizontal team to support complex programs in different program lifecycle phasesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 5years of experience with Program Management, Financial Management, and/or operations.The ability to obtain and maintain an US Government Clearance.Desired Characteristics
