A client of Insight Global seeks a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Architect to assist our teams in modernizing our core application stack to the cloud. This role will be a key member of the team responsible for delivering the design and roadmap to transform our software stack and move to a SaaS enabled framework. Additionally, the expectation that the design is highly reliable, scalable and meets industry required security framework requirements such as HIPAA.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering with a strong focus on AWS
Strong knowledge of networking, security and compliance best practices
Proven track record of designing and implementing complex software solutions via AWS
Deep understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS and more.
AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional) are preferred.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead by example and work as a part of an extended global team
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Understanding of Healthcare requirements such as HIPPA, PII, or PHI
AWS certifications
Data Normalization / Data Management Experience
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
