Summary

The dishwasher plays an imperative role in the kitchen, the dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machines and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dish washing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility. Dishwashers should be energetic and upbeat and have a positive attitude while working at the Buffalo Sabres.

Core Responsibilities

Assist kitchen and wait staff to ensure highest quality of service is delivered to players and staff.Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, tableware, pots, and/or pansLight food prep may be part of this positionMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditionClean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipmentPlace clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areasSort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areasEnsure kitchen floors are clear of clutter and remain clean and dryStock serving stations or dining areas with food or suppliesOther duties as assigned, including assisting kitchen staff with food preparationMinimum Qualifications for the Position:

Must be at least 18 years of age1-2 years restaurant experienceKnowledge of restaurant procedures and processesCritical Competencies
