Air Export CoordinatorThis role will work to process air export shipments and complete shipments from start to finish ensuring excellent customer service at all times.Responsibilities:Process air export shipments.Enter and follow-up on international air export shipments. Multitask and provide the highest quality of customer support while developing time sensitive and cost-effective routings/quotations.Develop relationships with a large and diversified customer base.Review documentation for compliance of any and all shipment documentation. Prepare air freight quotations and make transportation bookings.Arrange shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP and liaise with relevant departments to meet required deadline and service requirements.Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.Ensure export processes are completed in compliance with TSA, IATA, BIS regulations and procedures.Monitor shipments and update all tracking information in the company's systems.Ensure customs entries are completed correctly as per customer instructions.Arrange shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP.Ensure company meets required deadlines and KPIs set by customer.Monitor shipments and update all tracking information in the company's system.Handle warehouse inventory dispatches within the specified deadlines.Raise invoices to customer within agreed KPI.Review each file once invoice has been raised to ensure correct costing and sales tariff used.Identify areas to maximize profitability by proactive file managementMaintain and develop customer relationships alongside customer solutions and any other relevant departments.Understand individual customer needs and requirements. Proactively manage operational files through agreed KPIs. This will include: files to be invoiced within agreed KPI, correct costs from suppliers added during the live operation of the job, correct customer tariff-reducing customer invoice queries, and shipment delivered to customer agreed KPI.Ensure all billing is carried out within a timely fashion.Understand customer requirements for completing quotations and ensure team is working to these standards.Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames and refresher courses are completed are completed prior to expiration date.Experience:5-6 years industry-related experience. Experience with quoting air shipments preferred.Dangerous Goods Compliant preferred.Familiarity with airlines.Prior experience with processing export shipment documentation, communicating with clients, TSA, CBP, BIS, DDTC, airlines and trucking firms, handling and labeling cargo, billing.Previous experience building strong relationships with varied customer base. Working knowledge of customs process and export regulations.Sound knowledge of export processes.Excellent computer skills.Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
