Production Assistant

POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Truvant management team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative support to production supervisors and managers at both buildings.Organize start up paperworkPrint, verify, and file labels Enter ASM schedules into NovatimeData EntryAssist other Administrative and management positions as needed.Assist in other areas as needed due to business changes.RequirementsEDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED4 years of experience preferredExcellent computer skills SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and proceduresAbility to pay close attention to detailExcellent attendanceSkill in multitasking and time managementAbility to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departmentsAbility to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidentialAbility to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP's, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communicationMust be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workersMust be able to reach, touch, graspMust be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and pushMust be able to balance multiple projects in an unsupervised environmentMust be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floorMust be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
