Lead Solar Installer

Job Title: Solar Installer / ElectricianLocation: Phoenix, AZJob Overview:A leading renewable energy company in Phoenix is seeking a skilled Solar Installer / Electrician to join their team. This role involves installing, wiring, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial clients. Candidates must have a solid understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and solar installation best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and passionate about sustainable energy solutions.Key Responsibilities:- System Installation: Install solar PV systems, including wiring, mounting, and securing panels on rooftops and other structures.- Electrical Wiring and Connections: Perform accurate and code-compliant wiring and connections for PV systems, ensuring compatibility with grid-tied and off-grid systems.- System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing to confirm system functionality and troubleshoot any electrical issues post-installation.- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA and NEC safety standards, implementing all necessary measures for safe, compliant installations.- Maintenance and Repairs: Provide ongoing maintenance and repair services, diagnosing issues and performing corrective actions as needed.Qualifications:- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional electrical training or vocational certification preferred.- Certifications: California General Electrician (C-10) License or Journeyman Electrician certification required.
