SAVA is in search of a dedicated IT professional to join our team as an Application Developer III (ATEC) on our ATEC IT Support team.To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Remote position: Applicants should be within 1.5 - 2 hours of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD or FT Cavazos, TX for IT support. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementation and management of an agile software development process to achieve predictable and repeatable results.Provides guidance, implementation, and maintenance in support of chosen development process allowing for continuous integration.Provides or assists with requirements gathering and analysis.Performs IT studies to include feasibility studies, analysis, plan development, problem-solving and report preparation.Provides guidance and assistance in forecasting and planning for future development, staging and resource requirements.Provide documentation on all development tasks that are complete, accurate, and accepted by government proponents.Utilize source code management and adhere to secure coding standards.Provides user documentation and customer assistance.Provides application training when required.Qualifications
Active DoD Secret security clearance required.Active DOD IAT Level II certification.Relevant education/experience must be in an IT discipline: Masters with 2 years of experience; Associates 5 years of experience; 7 plus year with no degree and possess appropriate certifications.Must have strong experience in the following languages:ASP.NETSharePoint OnlinePower PlatformExperience with the following advanced languages:.Net Framework,SQL (preferably with Microsoft SQL Server)Designing and creating various data sources including relational databases.Business Intelligence (BI) software engineering / development with one or more industry standard and emerging BI platforms (PowerBI, Qlik, etc.)Microsoft Power Platform to include Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and PowerShell.Experience in developing and deploying Web applications and be experienced with multiple operating systems.Demonstrated experience providing user support for custom developed applications.Experience with .NET Framework, Visual Basic.net, SQL, XML, VBA for Office Applications, HTML, C#,Experience independently developing medium scale, complex software programs and mentoring other software team members.Technical expert on design and architecture of software modules and applications by applying principles of software design through patterns and secure coding.Experience creating and maintaining deliverables for software releases and overseeing schedules and communication with program management and subject matter experts.Remote position: applicants should be within 1.5 - 2 hours of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD or FT Cavazos, TX for IT support.Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the following languages:JavaScriptjQuery or other modern/emerging web development technologies.Experience in agile software development.Experience debugging/troubleshooting, testing and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities in software code.Specialized experience as a DevOps (Development and Operations) Engineer.Independent development of medium scale, complex software programs and mentoring other software team members.Expert on design and architecture of software modules and applications by applying principles of software design through patterns and secure coding.Developing, implementing, and managing automated software source control in industry standard platforms such as Jenkins and/or Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).Ability to envision and implement build and deployment strategies for Continuous Integration and deployment of system software, test artifacts, and documentation.Experience with end state configuration via puppet or chef, and software deployment strategies via docker or Kubernetes.Pay Range $95,000 - $100,000.00 Benefits Regular - The company offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and a range of other voluntary benefits.
