Inventory Analyst

The end goal is to drive supply chain efficiency and mutual profitability of customer accounts.Build orders in a web-based VMI systemBuild and analyze seasonal profiling process to forecast future ordersDevelop and implement standard reporting templatesResearch out-of-stock items and present proposals on the root causeIdentify gaps in inventory and coordinate with Operations on production schedulingProvide order status to distribution partnersTrack and update lead times on back-ordered items to ensure customer awarenessProvide shipping/tracking information to customersWork with customers on understanding and completing promotional planning needsDevelop and document common processes for continuous improvementPerformance reporting and result trackingNew VMI customer analysis and setupMeeting customer-established turn and service goalsYOU HAVE:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred2+ years experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Service Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operations preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsProject management skills to develop plans with action steps and timetables, meet deadlines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and handle multiple priorities.Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external, and establish credibility with business partners.Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly evolving business environment.Much of the work will be in a normal office environment and will include extended periods of sitting, standing, and repetitive motion tasks.Ability to travel <10% and work hybrid from our site in Anoka, MN.WE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayAt nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
