Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
to join our team and drive the development and deployment of BI solutions across the organization. The BI Analyst will work closely with leaders in various departments to design and implement intelligent reporting solutions, improve data accessibility, and leverage analytics to inform business decisions. This role will play a key part in optimizing business intelligence tools, enhancing self-service analytics capabilities, and promoting data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: BI Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions, including interactive dashboards and visualizations, to support decision-making across the organization. Reporting & Optimization: Partner with department leaders to create and optimize reports, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver actionable insights. Automation & Efficiency: Drive the automation of business reporting processes to reduce manual effort and reporting time. Implement self-serve data models to empower teams with on-demand insights. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Increase organizational proficiency in data analytics by conducting training sessions on BI tools and data concepts. Help non-technical users better understand and leverage business intelligence. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide troubleshooting support and assistance to resolve reporting and analytics-related issues. Ensure the smooth functioning of BI tools and reporting systems. Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics: Explore machine learning capabilities within existing and new datasets. Integrate insights from machine learning models into the business to improve decision-making and performance. Data Delivery & Cadence: Improve data delivery methods, reporting cadence, and the overall efficiency of how data is provided to stakeholders. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Assist with various ad-hoc data analysis requests and support other departments with specific data needs. FP&A Support: Assist with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities as required, providing analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Other Tasks as Assigned: Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor or management to support the overall goals of the BI function. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in
Computer Science ,
Finance ,
Accounting ,
Mathematics ,
Statistics ,
Engineering ,
Economics , or a related field. Experience: Minimum of
3+ years of experience
in Business Intelligence or data analytics, with a proven track record of creating complex dashboards and visualizations. 3-5+ years
of experience working with database technologies, with a strong focus on reporting and analytics tools. Technical Skills: SQL expertise
with experience developing complex queries for data extraction and reporting. In-depth experience with the
Microsoft BI stack , including: Power BI
(creating reports, dashboards, DAX queries) Power Automate
and
Power Apps
for automating workflows and building custom applications Power BI Fabric
and
Dataverse
for data modeling and integration. Strong understanding of
Power BI DAX
for data analysis and reporting. Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficient in
data management ,
operation , and
development
(preferred). Deep understanding of
analytical concepts
and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of data experience. Communication & Collaboration: Strong
communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments and bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
machine learning
techniques and integrating them into business intelligence models. Familiarity with
FP&A
(Financial Planning & Analysis) and experience supporting financial analysis and reporting processes. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Location: This position is based in
