Position Summary:
The Christmas driver is responsible for delivery and pick up of bell ringers and kettles to the assigned locations in a timely manner. May also help with other seasonal driving responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities:Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned routeMaintain vehicle(s), being sure it is cleaned and prepared for next useKeep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicleCommunicate any problems to supervisorPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesAt least 18 years oldSkills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365Basic computer knowledgeCertificates and Licenses:
Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) checkComplete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
