Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT, we'll count on you to:Assist the Senior Engineers with site studies, site designs, construction documentation preparation and graphic presentationPrepare plans and specifications for water pipelinesPrepare plans and specifications for wastewater facilities and treatment systemsWrite first drafts of technical memorandaRead and understand technical manualsPrepare spreadsheet calculationsPerform field work including:Inspection of concrete and steel facilitiesReport preparationWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsPerform other duties, as neededPreferred QualificationsMSEIT preferred, those hired without an EIT will be called a W/WW Coordinator and expected to obtain EIT for career progressionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldInterest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
