Apple is seeking an Environmental Data Analyst to support environmental reporting and program development across worldwide Apple facilities. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with detailed knowledge of greenhouse gas protocols, industry best practices for environmental data assurance and reporting with exceptional analytical skills.DescriptionLead the data collection, validation and integrity efforts for environmental data across worldwide Apple Facilities. Monitor Apple’s progress towards environmental goals for energy, waste, water and other metrics. Support data assurance and reporting processes, and provide valuable insights to environmental programs through analysis and internal communication. Work with the larger Global Energy & Sustainability Team as well as cross-functionally with Real Estate, Environmental Policy, EH&S, Data Center and Retail teams within Apple. Work with internal software experts to continuously improve the software tools Apple uses to organize and report environmental data.Minimum QualificationsExperience with energy and environmental data analysis and reporting.Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Environmental or Energy Management, Data Science, or a similar field.5 years of professional experience, or a Master’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience.Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.Advanced skills with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of greenhouse gas protocols, Carbon Disclosure Project, and other sustainability reporting standards.Experience leading data collection and quality assurance/quality control, working with various data sources and software tools to aggregate for environmental assurance and reporting.Ability to guide decision-making with data analysis and communication.Strong organization and documentation skills with great attention to detail.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.Strong team player and ability to collaborate with several teams and vendors spread across the globe.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
