Assistant/Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving

Overview: The Assistant/Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving will serve as a key member of Quinnipiac’s Development and Alumni Affairs team. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, and working in collaboration with the Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs, the Assistant/Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving is responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding leadership level donors ($1,000+). This frontline fundraising role will facilitate and coordinate communications and positive interactions with prospects and donors, as well as among various faculty members and administrators on campus.

Extensive travel to meet donors, prospects, and volunteers is required. Title will be based on experience level.Responsibilities:Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership annual gift prospects.Manage a portfolio of 180 prospects capable of making leadership annual gifts.Develop and execute personalized engagement strategies for each prospect to secure gifts of $1,000 and above.Conduct regular outreach through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings to build and maintain relationships with prospects.Create tailored proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the impact of giving and align donor interests with institutional priorities.Working closely with the Director of Annual Giving and other team members, coordinate solicitation strategies around giving challenges and campaigns to maximize fundraising efforts.Grow and enhance the President’s Club ($2,500+/year) by identifying potential members, creating engagement strategies, and fostering long-term relationships.Participate in events and activities that engage the donor community and enhance their connection to the institution.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions.Work closely with colleagues in Development and Alumni Affairs to ensure a coordinated approach to donor cultivation and stewardship.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree required.Master's degree preferred.Experience may substitute for some of the above education requirements.Qualifications:1-5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, preferably in higher education or a similar non-profit environment. The role may be filled at the Assistant or Associate level depending on the candidate's years of experience in fundraising.Proven track record of successfully securing gifts of $1,000 and above.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse constituencies.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in using CRM systems and other fundraising tools.Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends as required.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.TO APPLY:
