This research is in collaboration with Bayer Crop Science and Bayer Pharmaceuticals.RequirementsEducation and Experience requirements:Ph.D. in computational chemistry, molecular modeling or related fieldsA record of research success through publications.Expertise in molecular dynamics software (AMBER, CHARMM, GROMACS, NAMD, DESMOND, etc.)Expertise in protein conformational analysis.Experience programming or scripting (C++ and/or Python experience preferred)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop computational methods for cryptic pocket detection.Apply CADD techniques for virtual ligand screening.Report and present work to internal team and Bayer collaborators.Present findings to scientific community.Pay & Benefits:The expected compensation for this position is between $75,000 to $85,000 per year commensurate with experience.EEO & Employment Eligibility:Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
