We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 6+ years of experience to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects. In this role, you will manage project design, development, and execution while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. You will collaborate closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams, applying your technical expertise to projects such as treatment facilities, distribution networks, and stormwater systems.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership:
Oversee the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects, including treatment plants, distribution systems, pump stations, and pipelines. Ensure project scope, schedule, and budget are met for successful delivery.Design and Analysis:
Lead hydraulic modeling, calculations, and technical design work. Ensure engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and meet client specifications.Permitting and Regulatory Compliance:
Prepare permit applications and environmental reports, and handle regulatory documentation. Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals and ensure projects meet environmental standards.Client and Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Facilitate meetings, provide technical guidance, and address project inquiries.Construction Support:
Oversee construction activities, conduct site visits, review shop drawings and submittals, and troubleshoot issues during construction.Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement quality control procedures and review project deliverables to ensure compliance with industry standards.Team Mentorship:
Guide and mentor junior engineers and staff, sharing expertise on project tasks and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.6+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a strong background in project management.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling programs (e.g., HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, InfoWater).In-depth knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and regulations.Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Excellent communication skills for report writing, presentations, and client/stakeholder interactions.If you or someone you know is interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply here or email us today!
