As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will provide technical expertise to support and assist the USAF Intel Community with securing and monitoring cloud environments and responding to incidents in those environments. You will support daily operations in a security operations center where you will apply your knowledge of cloud security. Additionally, you may assist with mentoring and informal on-the-job training (OJT) and technical or process support of other team members.On our team, you’ll recommend and implement tools and procedures for monitoring and responding to threats and vulnerabilities in cloud-based systems based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You will apply your understanding of the DoD risk management framework (RMF) in the area of audit log monitoring and incident response. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with customer-facing and internal teams to ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
