December 31, 2024The OpportunityTC Energy is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in various locations to support our efforts in Energy Problem Solving and our daily operations. We are seeking students interested in gaining technical engineering or project engineering work experience who are enrolled in Bachelor of Science with an Engineering focus, Bachelor of Engineering or related field.We engage our engineering students in the very core of our operations. As a valued member of the team, you’ll do exciting, challenging work, solve real engineering problems, and make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge, skills, and passion for what you do.The term length is 3 months.Roles are based in Houston, TX and Charleston, WV and responsibilities will depend on your team.Minimum QualificationsActively enrolled in an engineering degree program (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Software Computer, or Energy Engineering), or equivalent, with at least one semester of education completed.Enrollment at an accredited university, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term.Exhibit a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting.Must exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives: safety, responsibility, integrity, innovation, and collaboration.Preferred QualificationsStrong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.Python, React, C#, JVS skills, and experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBi would all be considered an asset (Student Technologist role).Committed to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity.Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities.Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills.Reflective and committed to continuous improvement and personal development.To remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-HybridPlease apply with a Resume, Cover Letter, and Transcript.About our businessTC Energy is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America.
