Our continued success depends on it!Position OverviewWe are looking for a mid-level Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate would work closely with other test automation and QA engineers to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop automated test scripts using Python based framework, open-source toolsWork closely with software engineers to identify, thoroughly document, and resolve defectsCross functional collaboration with manual QA engineers, software developers, and Systems engineers to design and develop non-functional automationMaintain existing automated test codebases(s) and repositoriesParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and test robustnessProvide feedback to development teams to improve product quality and mitigate future issuesRequired Interpersonal Skills & BehaviorsExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently or collaboratively within a team environmentRequired Skills and CompetenciesProven experience in automated test developmentStrong programming skills of Python (required) and other languages, hands on experience with test automation frameworksUnderstanding of RESTful APIs, JSON data formatFamiliarity in Continuous Integration, Continuous Development Systems such as JenkinsUnderstanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC)Proficiency with source control tools and applicationsProficiency with defect tracking applicationsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and processesEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field3+ years’ experience in automated test design and development3+ years’ experience functional and non-functional testingAdditional InformationThe position is hybrid in the Acton, MA office.Travel is estimated at 5% but will flex depending on business needs.NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-HybridThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,900.00 - $106,450.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
