They have over 75 financial institution clients in 12 countries in Latin America.Our ownership group has significant experience in the financial technology space having been the Chair and CEO of Open Solutions, the creator of DNA core processing system, and founded Payveris, the digital money movement platform, along with written books on community-based financial institutions, and been inducted into the financial technology Hall of Fame, as well as receiving numerous awards.Who we are looking for:BDC is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, sales-oriented professional to join our growing team as President of Ladonware. As a key member of the team, this individual will be an integral member of a growing team of hard-working and experienced professionals. The candidate will work closely with our CEO and other key management. The ideal candidate will have been a former President, GM, or LATAM manager in the FinTech industry with sales-related experience in core processes, payments, and related areas. You need to be able to look at the big picture with an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as have high energy and high-performance track record. The candidate will be familiar will all aspects of branding, sales and marketing, delivery, development, and growth strategy. The candidate will have a strong operational background of managing the leadership function of a financial technology-based company and experience working with professional investors (VC/PE) and related expectations. BDC is an operationally led firm and culture that applies our unique operational knowledge into how we operate the firm and manage our investments. What sets us apart is that the same entrepreneurial spirit and energy that made us successful in an operational role should translate to building a different kind of investment firm.What you will be working on:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Create a plan to build a market-leading financial technology company that inspires a generation.Build an effective brand and market presence that reflects the history of the founders and the power of opportunity.Effectively collaborate with the BDC CEO and Board of Directors to set annual business goals, promote the best interests of Ladonware, and continue to develop the Ladonware vision.Lead Ladonware in a way that exemplifies fiduciary and governance best practices. Put simply, you’ll always do the right thing for Ladonware, its team members, and its customers.Set and achieve organizational goals and P&L financial objectives while providing financial checks and balances. Overseeing operating plan, budget, cash flow, and company finances.Build and lead an effective and cohesive executive management team to include all company employees, while establishing a basic personnel policy, initiating and monitoring policies relating to personnel actions, and training and professional development programs.Ensure company objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees.Ensure the company complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practices.Establish, achieve, and report on financials and milestones to BDC CEO and Board of Directors.Establish and implement short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.About You:We are looking for an individual with a strong financial technology operating background who has experience in expanding market share and driving a sales-driven culture. Must have experience in technology and SaaS business models.Bachelor’s degree.MBA preferred.Fluency in Spanish and English.Must live in LATAM, Caribbean, or SE US.Core banking experience is required.Prior experience in sales and/or leadership efforts in a startup company preferably with a background in financial services and technology background.Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work strategically, but also hands-on problem-solving.Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative teams.Strong desire to lead from a strategic and tactical perspective in all aspects of day-to-day company operations.Venture capital and Private Equity experience/background.Investor relations and investor presentations.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:HardworkingHands-OnMotivatedInspirationalDrivenOpen mindedCollaborativeWell educated.
