LOCATION:
This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the
Los Angeles
office. The preferred candidate should be based in Los Angeles, with working hours that align with
Pacific Standard Time (PST) .
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Project Manager - Analytics
with strong expertise in A/B testing, data analytics, and Adobe Target to lead our analytics-driven initiatives. This senior-level role requires someone with a solid foundation in managing agile-based projects, and who possesses advanced technical skills in analytics. The ideal candidate will act as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring successful project execution and driving data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end analytics and A/B testing projects, focusing on optimizing user experience and business outcomes.
Oversee the design, implementation, and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests, using platforms such as Adobe Target, Google Optimize, or similar tools.
Ensure the successful execution of agile-based projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, and product managers.
Serve as a Scrum Master to guide teams through agile methodologies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
Develop and maintain project roadmaps and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Provide technical insights and recommendations on analytics and testing strategies to optimize business performance.
Manage the integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and enabling actionable insights for decision-making.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and results of analytics initiatives.
Champion the use of data-driven methodologies across the organization, ensuring teams leverage insights effectively.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in analytics, data science, or similar technical fields.
Strong hands-on experience with A/B testing tools (Adobe Target, Google Optimize, Optimizely, etc.) and knowledge of experimental design.
In-depth knowledge of data and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
Proficiency with agile project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), including experience leading sprint planning and execution as a Scrum Master.
Excellent understanding of data modeling, analysis techniques, and the ability to translate data insights into business solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar) is a plus.
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, AirTable, Jira Product Discovery or other project management tools is preferred.
Proven relationship-building abilities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, facilitating project alignment and driving successful collaboration.
Skilled in creating actionable plans in fast-paced, agile environments, balancing timelines, resources, and ambiguity to ensure project success.
Nice to Haves:
Experience and understanding of mobile apps, Connected TV platforms, OTT services, web, and general digital media technologies would be great to have.
Strong facilitation and workshop capabilities to help cross-functional teams define the outcomes and then deliver on those outcomes.
Experience with Atlassian suite of tools.
Base Salary:
$110,000 to $140,000 USD per year
