Senior HR Business Partner, Americas - R&D (Hybrid - Huntsville, AL, USA)Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a skilled and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join our team, supporting our Research and Development (R&D) department. This newly created role offers an opportunity to drive HR strategies that align with business goals, promote a strong culture, and enhance organizational performance within a global leader in digital reality solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and operational expertise to support our growth and performance objectives.Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment
Partner with R&D leaders to develop HR strategies that align with business goals, fostering growth and team performance.
Talent Management
Oversee strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention.Collaborate with leaders on succession planning and career path development for key roles.Identify and address skills gaps through employee development initiatives.
Organizational Development
Lead organizational change efforts, providing support and resources to enable smooth transitions.Assess and enhance the effectiveness of organizational structures, recommending improvements as needed.
Performance Management
Guide managers in goal setting, feedback, and evaluation processes to foster team growth.Implement and track performance metrics to inform improvements in team and individual performance.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Cultivate a positive work culture that enhances engagement and satisfaction.Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and coach managers and team members as required.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Utilize HR analytics to monitor workforce trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making.Present HR performance data on turnover, retention, and workforce demographics to leadership.
Education / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in an HR business partner or similar strategic role.Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and organizational development.Proficiency in HR software and data analytics.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to align HR initiatives with strategic business goals.Skills in conflict resolution, coaching, and change management.Project management experience.Ability to work effectively in a global, culturally diverse environment.Customer service focus with a proactive attitude.Ability and willingness to travel (approximately 10%).This role offers a dynamic environment for a talented HR professional to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, innovative organization.Hexagon will not sponsor applicants for a work visa for this position.About Hexagon
