Help out at San Diego Youth Tennis' Team Tennis Tournament. Volunteers encourage their players, promote teamwork, and ensure the players rotate smoothly from court to court while they participate in a variety of drills and games.The children are elementary and middle school ages (for the most part). All levels of players will be participating, from beginners to more advanced in their age range. Come out and encourage these young players.Youth players throughout the San Diego community will be on the court for this team building event. For most players, this will be their first-ever tournament! Volunteers are requested to help with scorekeeping, tournament rules, and encouraging positive sportsmanship.Project Requirements & Important Notes

Attire:

Wear comfortable athletic attire such as shorts or a warmup suit. Dress in layers depending on the season. Must wear athletic shoes appropriate for tennis courts.Bring:

A reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.Court-Ordered Volunteers:

Due to site policy, this organization does not accommodate court-mandated volunteers.Note:

Volunteers do not need to bring tennis rackets.Youth Tennis San Diego is a nonprofit (501)(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to promote the educational, physical, and social development of all youth through organized tennis and educational activities.
