The Superintendent, working collaboratively with the Bishop’s Office, the Diocesan School Board, pastors, and principals, provides leadership that will promote excellence in Catholic education by addressing the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical needs of students. The Superintendent oversees the diocesan, regional, and parish schools and maintains contact with the private schools. The Superintendent is expected to provide leadership and innovation with respect to a strategic plan for Diocesan schools, to achieve growth and financial stability. A key mission is to establish and maintain an educational alternative for families in the diocese that is truly imbued with Catholic teaching and values.Application Deadline:

Master’s degree in Education Administration or comparable field.Successful experience as a principal in a Catholic school, minimum of five years.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.Must understand, support, and be able to articulate the philosophy of Catholic education as taught by the Church; possess integrity and conviction; have the ability to identify and affirm gifts and talents in others, as well as ability to direct and supervise as required by the Office.This position requires a valid driver’s license.
